Citizens directly suffer the consequences of the rising sea level. They need to know the phenomena, the multiple consequences in their life today and in the life of their children.
SAVEMEDCOAST-2 aims to increase citizens’ awareness and resilience.
This page is mostly dedicated to citizens living or working in the Venice lagoon, the Basento river mouth (Italy), the Ebre delta (Spain) and the Chalastra plain (Greece).
However, information that you can find on this page can help to understand what you can do to mitigate the effect of Sea Level Rise and adapt to future situations in most coastal areas.
These will be uploaded on this page throughout the project.
